Skills for Facing Adversity Through Psychological and Spiritual Awareness
For many of us, the political climate has become an everyday stressor. We may use prayer and meditation to find a more wholesome relationship to the stresses and challenges, but we also need resources to examine how our personal psychological traumas are affected by witnessing cruelty and scapegoating. Through meditation and prayer, we can make a deeper connection to peace, acceptance, and joy, and within that openness, we can examine and heal our personal pain.
Currently there is division and disappointment in how our political climate is affecting us personally and communally. Some may feel discouraged and helpless. This class is designed to help all of us cope with our daily stress.
