We’ll talk about what brought you to St. Paul in the Desert, answer your questions, and share a little about the life and ministries of our parish.
Space is limited to 10 people, so each gathering can be relaxed and conversational.

This class explores why characters throughout history reach beyond the grave, tracing encounters with the afterlife from 1 Samuel and Homer’s Odyssey to Luke 16 and the modern poetry of Robinson Jeffers. Ultimately, examining these diverse texts reveals how stories about the dead are actually guides for making the most of our time alive today.
