Lay Eucharistic Visitors (LEVs)

Bringing Holy Communion to Those Unable to Attend Worship

At the heart of our community is the belief that no one should be separated from the grace and comfort of the Holy Eucharist.

Our Eucharistic Visitors extend the church’s worship beyond its walls, carrying Holy Communion to parishioners who are homebound, hospitalized, or otherwise unable to attend services.

This ministry embodies Christ’s call to compassion, connection, and care—ensuring that every member of our congregation remains embraced by the love and prayers of the community.

What Is a Eucharistic Visitor?

Eucharistic Visitor is a trained and licensed lay minister who brings the Consecrated Elements directly from our worship service to those who cannot be present. These visits take place shortly after the Celebration of the Holy Eucharist, maintaining the sacred connection between the gathered community and those receiving Communion.

Eucharistic Visitors serve under the direction of our clergy and are commissioned to offer prayer, presence, and pastoral support during their visit. Their ministry is one of both sacramental care and human compassion.
