Pilgrim Places, Holy Lives

Pilgrim Places, Holy Lives invites our church into a season of shared journey and discovery from May 25 through June 28. Beginning the day after Pentecost, we will explore eight places that shaped the spread of Christianity in England, alongside the stories of the saints who lived and witnessed there. Every parishioner who attends Pentecost Sunday will receive the companion booklet for use in their own spiritual journey throughout the week. Each day offers a simple rhythm of devotion: a Scripture reading, a prayer, a brief reflection, and a suggested action or question for deeper contemplation. For those looking to explore in a group setting – there will be an opportunity each week to reflect on what was read. On Sundays—starting with Trinity Sunday, May 31—our adult education hour will bring these stories to life as members of the clergy guide us through the week’s places and holy lives, offering insight, context, and space for conversation.

As we celebrate the new Archbishop of Canterbury, who has recently made her own pilgrimage to the heart of Anglican Christianity, we, too, are invited to journey—across landscapes of history and faith, and within our own lives—seeking the presence of God who meets us in every place.
